About

Yagura are small towers built at the corners of castle walls used for observing the lay of the land.

In similar fashion, Project Yagura aims to provide designers outside Japan with a better understanding of major building and construction related Japanese organizations.

This site is built on an every growing database of major manufacturers, associations, and government entities. Project Yagura is a labor of love and receives no support or sponsorship from any of the organizations listed.

Roadmap

This site is continuing to grow. Currently, we're updating the underlying database to provide users with the following features:

Query organizations by related discipline, e.g. architectural, civil, fire project, etc.
Connect organizations with helpful resource links, e.g. websites, product pages and catalog links.
Provide helpful learning resources for better understanding the Japanese construction industry.
Optimize images for faster query results.
